Transformers Devastation: The Decepticons plan to turn Earth into a second Cybertron using a fallen core capable of turning all life into iron. The Autobots save humanity, reclaiming their home from the clutches of the main antagonist, Megatron. Locations shift from a city to a ship, scattered with additional items and equipment, as well as useful bonuses.

The combat system is energetic, allowing for combos with punches, weapons, and vehicles. Additionally, there are sharp dodges to avoid enemy attacks, adding a touch of drama to the battles. Each playable character has a wide variety of attacks, ranging from melee combat to the ultimates the Autobots use. After missions, players can level up their characters by purchasing new abilities or upgrading their weapons, depending on their rank.
