FlatOut is a crazy off-road racing game with no rules, where sixteen virtuoso muscle car drivers compete for the title of champion. The game takes physics into account, including weather conditions and a destructible environment. Reckless drivers will encounter six track types, each with their own twists and dangers: a racetrack with compacted asphalt, a village with alleys, a forest with a country road, a coal mine, farmland with wooden fences, and a beautiful winter landscape with a glistening crust and treacherous, slippery turns.
Single-player FlatOut pits you against opponents controlled by a cunning AI. The AI is every bit as agile and skilled as the player, making racing against the computer quite exciting. Players can choose from three modes: "Single Player Career," "Quick Race," and "Time Trial." Up to eight virtuosos can compete simultaneously in a multiplayer tournament, cutting each other off on the track and causing hilarious chaos.
